SAN JOSE, Calif. – Emilia Sjostrand and Sky Hagan are set to represent the No. 25-ranked San José State women's track & field team at next the NCAA Indoor National meet in Boston on March 8-9.
EMILIA SJOSTRAND:
- This is Sjostrand's second-straight NCAA Nationals where she was the first female All-American at SJSU.
- Sjostrand is the back-to-back Mountain West long jump and triple jump champion
- She tied her own SJSU record in the long jump (6.48 meters), and shattered her previous record in the triple jump (14.09 meters).
- Her triple jump mark is the best in the nation, and her long jump mark is 10th best.
SKY HAGAN:
- Won the 60-meter hurdles with an all-time record 8.09-second run.
- The mark is a Mountain West Indoor record.
- Set a new personal best in the 60-meter dash at 7.45 seconds.
