LAS VEGAS – The San José State baseball team (3-5, 0-0 MW) is set to start its Mountain West campaign this weekend when they travel to UNLV (7-1, 0-0 MW).
Game one on Friday is set for a 6:05 p.m. start time, with games two and three on Saturday and Sunday scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m. and 12:05 p.m., respectively.

- Hunter Dorraugh and Nathan Cadena both have at least one hit in five of the last six games.
- The Spartans are first in the league in triples with five. Theo Hardy and Robert Hamchuk each have two, and Cadena has one.
UNLV:
- The Rebels lead the all-time series against San José State 49-37.
- The Spartans are 14-26 all time in Las Vegas.
- SJSU swept UNLV April 14-16 in their lone series matchup last season.
