KAMUELA, Hawaii - Carl Corpus fired a bogey-free 67 (-5) to finish in a tie for 12th to lead San José State men's golf through the first round of the Amer Ari Intercollegiate at Mauna Lani Resort Golf Club on Thursday.
- SJSU finished the day in a tie for 15th out of 20 teams with a 281 (-7).
- Corpus finished the day with 13 pars and five birdies.
- Zubair Firdaus shot a 69 (-3) with seven birdies.
- Kristopher Stiles recorded a 70 (-1).
- Ivan Barahona shot a 74 (+2) to round out the Spartan lineup.
