The 2024 San José State Beach Volleyball team travels up the peninsula to play at the Battle of the Bay hosted by Stanford this Friday and Saturday at the Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium.

SJSU is coming off a 5-0 loss at No. 7 California last Friday.
The Spartans were picked fifth in the Southland Conference Preseason Poll, as voted upon by the conference’s head coaches and sports information directors. The Spartans finished the 2023 season with an 11-9 overall record.

San José State will host the Inaugural Sand Jose Invitational March 16 & 17 at Spartan Beach. Teams competing include Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Sacramento State, Utah, Saint Mary’s and Sierra College.
The Spartans will play at the Southland Midseason Tournament March 22-24, in New Orleans, and at the Southland Championships, April 19-21, in Houston, Texas.
