BERKELEY, Calif. – After a historic outing at last week's Mountain West Championship, the San José State track & field team will head out for Berkeley, Calif., to compete in the Cal Opener on March 2, starting at 9:30 a.m. PT.
San José State will only be competing in the distance events: Women's 2000-meter steeplechase, Men's 2000-meter steeplechase and Men's 400meter dash.
WOMEN:
- Gabrielle Hernandez will be competing in the 2000-meter steeplechase.
MEN:
- Christopher Malone, Nathan Lau and Michael Chadwick will compete in tomorrow's 400-meter dash.
- Hudson Sauder and Alexander Walker will participate in the 2000-meter steeplechase.
UP NEXT: Emilia Sjostrand and Sky Hagan are set to compete in the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston March 8-9.
