LAS VEGAS - San José State men's basketball guard, Myron (MJ) Amey Jr., received an honorable mention for the Mountain West All-Conference Team on Tuesday morning. Click here to view the award winners and the all-conference teams which were voted on by the league's 11 head coaches.

  • Received an all-conference honorable mention in the 2024 Mountain West media poll.
  • Led the Spartans and finished fifth in the Mountain West in scoring, averaging 16.5 points per game in conference contests.
  • Ranked second in the conference during league play in both 3-point percentage (.397) and 3-point field goals made (2.56).
  • Recorded the fourth-most steals in the conference with 49.
  • Tallied 20 or more points nine times overall and six times during Mountain West play.
  • Scored in double figures in 15 of the 18 conference games.
  • Collected three or more steals in a game seven times and four steals in a game twice.
  • Knocked down five 3-pointers in a game on two separate occasions.
  • Registered a season-high 30 points, 25 of which came in the first half, against Boise State on Jan. 5.
  • Hit the game-winning buzzer-beater at Air Force on Jan. 13.
  • Selected to the Paradise Jam All-Tournament Team after leading the tournament with 14 assists and averaging 16.0 points, 4.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
