BOISE, Idaho - Cheuk Ying Shek won in both singles and doubles to lead the San José State women's tennis team (8-2, 0-1 Mountain West) in a 4-2 loss at Boise State (5-6, 1-0 Mountain West) on Friday.
- Ying Shek and her partner Irena Muradyan improved to 7-2 together on the season with a 6-1 victory in the No. 1 doubles flight.
- The Spartans clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win by Duru Durgun and Rozalina Youseva on court three.
- Ying Shek was the only Spartan to earn a win in singles as she took down her opponent on court three, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will host Nevada at the Spartan Tennis Complex in San Jose, Calif. on Sunday, March 17. First serve will be at 1 p.m., rescheduled from the original start time of 12 p.m.
