SAN JOSE, Calif. - Irena Muradyan and Duru Durgun each won in singles and doubles to lead the San José State women's tennis team (9-2, 1-1 Mountain West) in a 4-0 win over Nevada (6-5, 1-1 Mountain West) on Sunday afternoon.
- The Spartans earned the doubles point before securing three straight-set wins in singles.
- Muradyan played with Cheuk Ying Shek in the No. 1 doubles flight and registered a 6-2 victory.
- Durgun and Rozalina Youseva clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 win on court three.
- Muradyan finished first in singles by taking care of business in the No. 2 flight, 6-3, 6-2.
- Jovana Babic recorded a 6-3, 6-0 win on court five.
- Durgun secured the win for the Spartans with a 6-1, 6-2 takedown on court six.
- The Spartans improved to 5-0 at home this season.
