SAN JOSE, Calif. – Micky Thompson tossed seven shutout innings, and Dalton Bowling had a perfect day at the plate as San José State (7-12, 3-5 MW) knocked off Fresno State (13-5, 3-2 MW) 4-2 in game two of the three-game series on Saturday afternoon.
- Thompson earned his first win of the season on the mound, striking out five batters with just one walk in seven scoreless innings.

- Bowling went 4-for-4 at the plate with a two-run home run in his first at-bat, followed by three singles.
- It was Bowling's third-straight game with a home run and a league-leading eighth on the season.
