SAN JOSE, Calif. - Duru Durgun and Rozalina Youseva each won in singles and doubles to lead the San José State women's tennis team (9-3, 1-1 Mountain West) in a 4-3 loss to Hawaii (7-6, 4-0 Big West) on Wednesday afternoon.
- Youseva lost only three games total as she earned a 6-2 doubles victory with Durgun on court three and a 6-0, 6-1 singles win on court four.
- Durgun won 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 6 singles flight.
- Durgun and Youseva recorded their fifth straight win in doubles and improved to 8-1 together on the year.
- Irena Muradyan and Cheuk Ying Shek registered a 6-1 win in the No. 1 doubles flight.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will be back at the Spartan Tennis Complex on Friday, March 22 for a showdown against New Mexico. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
