SAN JOSE, Calif. - Chevan Cordeiro, Andrew Gonneville, Andrew Jenkins, Tre Jenkins, Jay Kakiva, Jaime Navarro, Kairee Robinson, Matthew Tago, Alex Weir, Chase Williams and Kenyon Reed participated in San José State's 2024 Pro Day on Friday.
Representatives from the NFL San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles and the CFL Saskatchewan Roughriders were in attendance.

"It was awesome for our former players to have an opportunity to work out for these NFL teams and I was excited that there were a lot of teams represented," said head football coach Ken Niumatalolo. "It's a testament to the football program and the players on how many NFL teams were here. It was also awesome for our current players to see their former brothers have an opportunity to perform. It was a great day."
The Spartans have started their spring practices and will practice almost every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in March and April besides the final week in March where they will practice Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The first week of April the team is off due to spring break. The annual spring game is on April 27th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from CEFCU Stadium and is open to the public and admission is free.
