SAN JOSE, Calif. - Irena Muradyan, Cheuk Ying Shek and Jovana Babic each won in singles to lead the San José State women's tennis team (9-4, 1-2 Mountain West) in a 4-3 loss to New Mexico (14-1, 3-0 Mountain West) on Friday at the Spartan Tennis Complex.
- Muradyan earned a 6-1, 6-4 win on court two.
- Ying Shek won 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 on court three.
- Babic recorded a 6-4, 6-3 victory on court five.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will be back in action at the Spartan Tennis Complex on Sunday, March 24 for a match with Air Force. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m.
