SAN FRANCISCO - Zubair Firdaus fired a 69 (-1) to finish in a tie for eighth to lead San José State men's golf through the first round of The Goodwin at TPC Harding Park on Thursday.
- SJSU finished the day in 17th out of 31 teams with a 291 (+11).
- Caleb Shetler shot a 73 (+3).
- Kristopher Stiles recorded a 74 (+4).
- Carl Corpus finished the day at 75 (+5) to round out the Spartan lineup.
