Boise, Idaho – Ahmiya Noriega had multiple hits on the day to lead San José State softball (11-16, 2-3 MW) as they dropped both games 8-0 and 12-4 respectively in a doubleheader against Boise State (23-13, 3-2 Mountain West) on Friday.
Game One vs. Boise State
- Original start time was at 5:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, however play was suspended due to weather and restarted on Friday as game one of a doubleheader.
- Ah. Noriega went 1-for-2 with a single.
- Reina Zermeno went 1-for-2 with a single.
- Lacie Ham came in as relief in the third inning and gave up only two hits and one run.
Game Two vs. Boise State
- Ah. Noriega went 2-for-3 with two singles and two runs scored.
- Noriega also made a diving catch in the hole between short and third to keep the bases clear in the bottom of the second.
- Malia Luna went 1-for-2 with a walk, one RBI and one run scored.
- Aubrie Thomas went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
- Aneesa Almaguer went 1-for-3 with one RBI
- Korie Thomas went 1-for-2 with a single.
- Shay McDowell went 1-for-2 with a single.
