Arwefjall Tied For Eighth After Two Rounds of Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational

FAIRFAX, Calif.—Kajsa Arwefjäll is tied for eighth at 2-under 142 as the 19th-ranked San José State women’s golf team is seventh after the first two rounds of the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational.

  • Arwefjäll shot even-par 72 in the first round and followed that up with a 2-under 70 in round two. She has made 28 pars over her two rounds.
  • In the second round, she had three birdies, 14 pars and a bogey on her final hole. 
    Lucia Lopez Ortega is tied for 27th at 3-over 147 with seven made birdies. In the first round, she made four birdies over her first nine holes.
  • Moa Andersson is also tied for 27th at 3-over 147 after shooting a 2-under 70 in the second round.
  • Louisa Carlbom is tied for 33rd at 4-over 148 after shooting 73-75 for her first two rounds.
  • Darae Chung is tied for 74th at 161.
  • Playing as an individual, Tessa Kremser is tied for 15th at even-par 144, while Rebecca Gyllner is tied for 25th at 2-over 146.
    Top-ranked Stanford is 13-under par and has a three-shot lead over Washington.

UP NEXT – Final round action begins Tuesday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
