RENO, Nev. – Sofia Kelemeni scored a new career-high 19 points to lead San José State (7-23, 2-16 MW) as they dropped their regular-season finale 82-65 to Nevada (16-15, 10-8 MW) on Tuesday night.
- Kelemeni shot 7-for-12 from the field with two 3-pointers in the game.
- The sophomore also pulled down four rebounds and dished out three assists.
- Sabrina Ma followed with 14 points on 3-of-5 shooting from behind the arc.
- Sydni Summers rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Spartans with 12 points of her own with two 3-pointers and four assists.
- The Spartans out-shot Nevada 52.1 percent to 50 percent.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will go into this weekend's Mountain West Tournament as the No. 10 seed with their opponent being the No. 7 seed San Diego State. They will play the second game on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
