MORAGA, Calif. – Theo Hardy went deep twice, while Dalton Bowling and Robert Hamchuk also hit home runs as San José State (5-7, 1-2 MW) earned a 10-8 win over Saint Mary's (8-4, 0-0 WCC) on Tuesday afternoon.
- Hardy also drew a pair of walks in addition to his two home runs in a 2-for-3 outing while scoring three runs.
- Bowling got things started in the top of the first with a three-run home run.
- It was Bowling's fifth home run of the season, and he moved into second place alone on the all-time home run list with the 27th of his career.
- Bowling has a home run in back-to-back games.
- The Spartans added three more in the fifth after an RBI single from Sebastian Orduno, a fourth RBI from Bowling and an RBI double from Nathan Cadena.
- In the sixth, Hamchuk hit a two run home run, followed by a solo shot from Hardy in the very next at-bat.
- Hunter Dorraugh went 3-for-5 at the plate with a run scored.
- Tyler Albanese earned the win after three and one-third innings of relief with a strikeout.
- Nolan George started the game on the mound and pitched four innings with a strikeout.
- Cade Van Allen earned his first save of the season.
