SAN JOSE, Calif. – Lacie Ham was solid in her start to lead San José State softball (13-22, 3-9 MW) in a 14-1 game one loss in five innings and a 2-1 game two loss in a doubleheader against San Diego State (25-14, 12-3 MW) on Friday from Spartan Softball Stadium.
In the second game, the Spartans struck first after a one out single by Ahmiya Noriega and an RBI triple by Reina Zermeno brought Noriega home for the early Spartan lead.
Game One vs. San Diego State
- Aneesa Almaguer went 1-for-2 with a double.
- Almaguer’s double extended her hit streak to four games.
- Zermeno went 1-for-2 with a single.
- Ah. Noriega was 1-for-2 with single one run scored.
- Ashley Rico went 1-for-2 single
- Taylor Squires went 1-for-3 with a single.
Game Two vs. San Diego State
- Ah. Noriega went 1-for-3 with a single.
- Zermeno went 1-for-3 with an RBI triple.
- Zermeno’s triple was her third of the season and ties her for the lead in the clubhouse.
- Haley Reeve went 1-for-2 with a single.
- Ham was the starter in game two going 7.0 IP, giving up 6 hits and two runs.
- Ham’s complete game is her third of the season, she now leads the clubhouse in that category.
