COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San José State's Irena Muradyan was named Mountain West Player of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The senior helped lead the Spartans to a 4-0 senior day win over Utah State and a narrow 4-3 loss to UNLV last week.

- Went 3-1 on the week against Utah State and UNLV
- Went 2-0 against UNLV with wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles
- Won in straight sets, 6-3 and 6-3, at No. 2 singles to get the first point for the Spartans on the day
- Against Utah State, Muradyan won in straight sets at No. 2 singles, 6-2 and 6-2, to give the Spartans
the first point in singles play and the second point of the match.
