FRESNO, Calif. – The San José State baseball team (13-23, 8-10 MW) gears up for its first Mountain West rematch of the season when they take on Fresno State (25-10, 14-4 MW) this weekend, beginning on Friday at 6:05 p.m.

SAN JOSÉ STATE:
- The Spartans are coming off a 2-1 series loss at Nevada last weekend.

- The Bulldogs enter the series atop the Mountain West standings.
- Fresno State also comes in as winners of 10 of their last 12 MW matchups.
- The Bulldogs won the series in San Jose (March 15-17) 2-1.
