SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State softball (14-23, 3-10 Mountain West) will have a quick one day turnaround and head out on the road for a three-game Mountain West weekend series against Colorado State (23-15, 6-7 MW) starting with the first game on Friday, April 19. The game will start at 10:00 a.m. PDT from Fort Collins, Colo. All three games can be seen on the Mountain West Network.

NEWS AND NOTES
- The Spartans are coming off of a come-from-behind 5-4 win against Saint Mary’s this past Wednesday.
- Korie Thomas went 2-for-2 against Saint Mary’s with a single and an RBI double, her fourth of the season.
- K. Thomas’ two hits tied a single-game season high for her.
- Ahmiya Noriega went 1-for-2 with a triple, sac fly, a run scored and three RBIs against Saint Mary’s.
- Ah. Noriega’s three RBIs set a new single-game season high for the sophomore.
- Ah. Noriega’s triple was her fourth of the season, making her the leader in the clubhouse in that category.
- Lacie Ham was strong in her relief appearance against the Gaels earning the win going 3 IP with no runs allowed and only giving up two hits.
- Ham currently leads the clubhouse in complete games with three.
- The Spartans took the season series over the Rams in 2023, winning two out of the three games.
NEXT GAME: The Spartans will be back in San José for their final home stand of the season against Mountain West foe UNLV starting with the first game on Friday, April 26. First pitch is slated for 6:00 p.m. PDT from Spartan Softball Stadium.
