FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Korie Thomas and Aubrie Thomas each had a hit for San José State softball (14-25, 3-12 MW) in a 16-0 game one loss in five innings and a 14-0 game two loss in five innings in a doubleheader against Colorado State (25-15, 8-7 MW) on Sunday from Ram Field in Fort Collins, Colo.
Game One vs. Colorado State
- A. Thomas went 1-for-3 with a single.
- Taylor Squires went 1-for-3 with a single
- Squires had a hit in three straight games.
- Reina Zermeno went 1-for-2 with a single.
- Zermeno is the current leader in the clubhouse in hits.
- Ashley Rico went 1-for-2 with a single.
- Mia Reynolds got the start in game one, her team leading 19th of the season.
Game Two vs. Colorado State
- K. Thomas went 1-for-2 with a single.
- K. Thomas is hitting .600 over her last three games going 3-for-5.
- Ashley Rico had a walk, her eighth of the year. She now sits third in the clubhouse in walks.
- Aneesa Almaguer also drew a walk, her third of the season.
- Alexis Toner made her seventh start of the year in game two.
