COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Hunter Dorraugh was named the Mountain West Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, after a stellar weekend where he helped lead the Spartans to a sweep over Fresno State.
- Dorraugh hit three home runs over the weekend, including two on Sunday as the Spartans completed the series sweep.
- He batted .333 while slugging .933 during the series.
- Dorraugh also drove in seven total runs, five of which came in Sunday's 9-2 victory.
- Dorraugh leads the team in home runs this season with 10 on the year. He now had 39 in his career, which is first all-time at San José State.
- This is the seventh weekly award of Dorraugh's career.
UP NEXT: Dorraugh and the Spartans are scheduled to host UNLV this weekend, April 26-28, for another Mountain West series. First pitch for Friday's series opener is slated for 6:05 p.m.
