CRESWELL, Ore. – The San José State men's golf team will compete in the Mountain West Championship from April 26-28, at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Ore.
- Round one tee times for the Spartans will begin at 8:50 a.m.
- The Spartans were last in action at the 77th Western Intercollegiate where they placed 11th out of 14 teams.
- From this weekend's starting lineup, Caleb Shetler leads the team in scoring average at 71.30 in 27 rounds played.
- SJSU has compiled three top-five finishes and three top-10 finishes this season.
- Carl Corpus leads the team with 13 rounds at par or better, followed by Zubair Firdaus with 11, and Shetler and Xuan Luo each with 10.
- The field includes Air Force, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV, Utah State, and Wyoming.
- Emerald Valley Golf Club will be a par 72 at 7,210 yards.
- The lineup for the Spartans will include Firdaus, Corpus, Shetler, Luo, and Kristopher Stiles.
