BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Darcy Spark had her seventh hat trick of the season to lead the No. 7-seeded San Jose State women's water polo in their 15-10 loss to No. 2-seed California in the first round of the MPSF Championships at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center in Bloomington, Ind.
- Lucy Miszewski also had a hat trick in the match, the first time two Spartans have had a hat trick in a match since April 7th.
- Sinia Plotz, Maiken Pardon, and Ivanna Anderson-Villela also put points on the board.
- Rose Jensen, Plotz, Anderson-Villela, and Pardon all recorded one assist each.
- Spark led the team in steals with three.
- Goalkeeper Grace Smith recorded seven saves during the match.
