CRESWELL, Ore. - Caleb Shetler and Xuan Luo each fired a 71 (-1) to finish in a tie for 13th to lead San José State men's golf following the first round of the Mountain West Championship at Emerald Valley Golf Club on Friday.
- SJSU finished the day in a tie for sixth out of 11 teams with a 287 (-1).
- Carl Corpus shot a 72 (E).
- Zubair Firdaus recorded a 73 (+1) to round out the Spartan lineup.
