SAN JOSE, Calif. – Hunter Dorraugh hit his 11th home run of the season as San José State (16-24, 11-11 MW) fell 2-1 to UNLV (23-18, 10-12 MW) in game one of the three-game series on Friday night.
- Dorraugh's home run is the 40th of his career, which is the all-time record at SJSU.
- Dorraugh, the reigning Mountain West Player of the Week, has now homered in three-straight games.
- The senior first baseman finished the game with two hits on the night.
- Dalton Bowling hit a double in the game, bringing his season total to 15.
- Theo Hardy also had a double in the contest.
- Jesse Gutierrez pitched three innings of relief, striking out two batters and only surrendering one hit and no runs.
