MORAGA, Calif. – Hunter Dorraugh had a multi-hit game extending his hitting streak to six games to lead San José State baseball (18-25, 13-11 MW) on Tuesday in a midweek 6-4 loss to Saint Mary's (26-16, 10-5 WCC) in the third and final game of the season series with the Gaels from Louis Guisto Field in Moraga, Calif.
The Spartans battled after falling behind early in the game putting up runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings with big hits from Jake Maroney and Dalton Bowling to tie up the game with the Gaels. However Saint Mary’s would add on two more runs in the seventh and eighth innings to retake the lead for good.
- Dorraugh ended the game going 3-for-4 with three singles, a walk and one run scored.
- Dorraugh recorded his 17th multi-hit game of the season.
