FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The San José State women's tennis team (11-4, 2-2 Mountain West) will play two matches this week beginning with a showdown at Colorado State (7-8, 3-2 Mountain West) on Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m. MT/10 a.m. PT and followed by a tilt versus Wyoming (12-8, 3-2 Mountain West) on Sunday, April 7 at 10 a.m. MT/9 a.m. PT. - The Spartans have not played since March 26, they were scheduled to battle San Diego State on March 30 but the match was canceled because of rain.
- Prior to the cancellation, the Spartans earned back-to-back 4-0 wins, taking down Air Force on Sunday, March 24 and UC San Diego on Tuesday, March 26.
- Rozalina Youseva won singles matches in both contests, 6-1, 6-1.
- The No. 1 doubles pair of Irena Muradyan and Cheuk Ying Shek earned victories in both matches and improved to 11-3 together on the season.
- Jovana Babic also went 2-0 in doubles, playing with Carolina Millan against Air Force and Youseva versus UC San Diego.
- The Spartans are 4-2 in away matches this season.

VS. COLORADO STATE
- The Colorado State Rams are coming off back-to-back 4-1 losses, falling to Nevada and Pacific.
- The Rams have racked up conference wins over Air Force, Boise State and Utah State and conference losses to New Mexico and Nevada.
- The Spartans will be looking for revenge against the Rams after losing 4-0 in 2023.
VS. WYOMING
- The Wyoming Cowgirls are coming off a 4-3 win over UNLV on Sunday, March 31 and will play Fresno State on Friday before welcoming the Spartans to town.
- The Cowgirls have recorded conference wins over Boise State, Utah State and UNLV and conference losses to Nevada and San Diego State.
- The Spartans defeated Wyoming 4-2 in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Mountain West Tournament.
