SAN JOSE, Calif. - Seven incoming freshmen will join the San José State women's soccer team for the 2024 season: Payton Hoover, Atianna Fuamatu-Ma'afala, Skylinne Avalos, Charlotte Memoly, Sophia Martel, Lillyana Rodriguez, and Cammy Ventura.
Payton Hoover / Forward / Discovery Bay, Calif. / Liberty High School

Skylinne Avalos / Goalkeeper / Davis, Calif. / Davis Senior High School

Lillyana Rodriguez / Midfielder / Turlock, Calif. / Pitman High School

- Led her team to the CCAL title in her sophomore year
- Named the CCAL offensive player of the year in her sophomore year
- Tied the school record for most goals in a season in her junior year
- Top goal scorer in the league in her junior and senior seasons

Cammy Ventura / Midfielder / San Jose, Calif. / Archbishop Mitty High School
- Selected to the Olympic Development Team and travel roster to the West Regional Championships and earned an invite to train with the U17 Philippines National Team
- Previously played for California Thorns USSDA
- Played for DeAnza Force ECNL
- Lettered four years in Varsity Soccer at Archbishop Mitty High School and started as a freshman
