SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State softball (12-20, 3-7 Mountain West) will take a quick break from Mountain West play and travel to Pacific (11-25, 0-0 WCC) for a midweek non-conference game on Wednesday, April 10. The game will start at 4:00 p.m. PDT from Bill Simoni Field in Stockton, Calif. The game can be seen on ESPN+.

- Reina Zermeno went 2-for-2 with a home run, single, one RBI and two runs scored in game two against Nevada on Sunday.
- Zermeno’s home run was her fifth of the season.
- Zermeno currently leads the clubhouse in multiple categories including home runs, batting average, RBIs and slugging.
- Aneesa Almaguer went 2-for-3 with two singles against the Wolfpack this past Sunday.
- Almaguer is currently on a three game hit streak and her two hits against Nevada on Sunday tied her single game season high.
- Ahmiya Noriega went 1-for-2 with a single and an RBI on Sunday.
- Noriega currently leads at the team in triples with three and she’s tied for third on the team in RBIs with nine.
- Makenzie Hutchinson went 2-for-2 with two hits against Nevada on Saturday marking a new season high for the senior.
- Mia Reynolds was solid in a relief appearance on Sunday against the Wolfpack going 3 IP, with zero runs, three hits and four strikeouts.
- Reynolds currently leads the pitching staff in starts, innings pitched and strikeouts.
- The Spartans are 8-11 all-time against Pacific dating back to 2006, including winning their most recent matchup with the Tigers last season in San Jose.
NEXT GAME: The Spartans will return home to resume conference action and play host to San Diego State for a weekend three game series beginning on Friday, April 12. The game will start at 6:00 p.m. PDT from Spartan Softball Stadium. All three games can be seen on the Mountain West Network.
