AUSTIN, Texas - Carl Corpus fired a 72 (+1) to lead San José State men's golf following the first round of the NCAA Austin Regional at The University of Texas Golf Club on Monday.
- After a three-hour weather delay, the Spartans fired a first-round score of 298 (+14) to finish in 13th.
- Ivan Barahona and Caleb Shetler both finished the day at 75 (+4).
- Zubair Firdaus recorded a 76 (+5) to round out the Spartan lineup.
