CARLSBAD, Calif.—Louisa Carlbom and Rebecca Gyllner represented the San José State women’s golf program on Monday in the final round of the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships, and both finished in the top-35 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
- Carlbom shot a 3-over 75 in her final collegiate round as a Spartan. She tied for 28th at 6-over 294.
- She shot an even-par 36 over her final nine holes (1-9) as she had a birdie, bogey and seven pars.
- She recorded her best finish individually in three tries as she has played at the championships for three consecutive years.
- Gyllner, a 2024 second team All-Mountain West honoree, shot a 77 in the final round and tied for 34th at 7-under 295.
- She made two birdies on the day and had a string of five consecutive pars made (15-1).
- Gyllner had her best finish at the championships after playing at last year’s contest at Grayhawk.
