PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – San José State men's golfer Marlon Jones finished ninth at the PGA Works Collegiate Championship at TPC Sawgrass on May 6-8.
- Two out of three rounds were played at the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course where the Players Championship is held.
- The PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship showcases competitive golf programs or individuals at the collegiate level that are underrepresented and/or underserved throughout the nation.
- Jones shot consecutive rounds of 82-69-72 to finish in ninth-place individually out of 27 golfers.
- He finished with a total of nine birdies and an eagle over three rounds.
