Spartans Add MW Sixth Man of the Year for 2024-25

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Josh Uduje, a 6-5 guard transfer from Utah State, will join the San José State men’s basketball team for the 2024-25 season, as announced by Spartan head coach Tim Miles.

  • 2023-24 Mountain West Co-Sixth Player of the Year
  • Played in all 35 games in 2023-24 at Utah State
  • Averaged 8.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game last season
  • Shot 42.5 percent from the field (111-261)
  • Played two years at Coastal Carolina (2021-22 & 2022-23)
  • Played in 64 games over his two seasons
  • Led the 2022-23 team in scoring at 13.3 points per game
  • Scored in double-figures in 20 games
  • Dean’s List honoree at Coastal Carolina
  • Prepped at Arizona Compass Prep and named the Grind Session tournament MVP
