Spartans to Play Stanford on CBS in Nationally Televised Game

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San José State football will have at least six nationally televised games including on CBS in the 2024 season, announced by the Mountain West Conference on Thursday.

The Spartans play on CBS at home against Stanford Presented by Webcor on Friday, Nov. 29 at 1:00 p.m. as it's the second year in a row the Spartans have hosted a CBS nationally televised game. 

"We are excited about playing six nationally televised games and being selected to host a national CBS broadcast for the second straight year," said Director of Athletics Jeff Konya. "This gives us an opportunity to highlight our athletics programs and the broader university. We are particularly looking forward to hosting a great game against Stanford and restoring a regional game that has a tremendous competitive history."

The Spartans will play at least three Friday games this season and one Thursday game. It is the fourth season in a row for the Spartans to host a Friday game from CEFCU Stadium.

  • Nov. 22 (Fri.) at TBD vs. UNLV (CEFCU Stadium)

CW Network

  • Sept. 20 (Fri.) at 7:00 p.m. at Washington State
  • Nov. 9 at 12:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. at Oregon State

The Mountain West Championship presented by Old Trapper will be held Friday, Dec. 6 at 5:00 p.m. on FOX.

Other game broadcasts will be announced in the following weeks.
