COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San José State football will play Sacramento State, Kennesaw State, Nevada, Colorado State and Fresno State on TruTV/Max, announced by the Mountain West Conference on Monday.
The Spartans have 11 of their 12 regular season games on national television for the first time ever which is one of the best in the Mountain West and this includes the second season in a row SJSU is hosting a CBS nationally televised game.
It's also the first time the Spartans have had seven home games since the 2006 season and the first time since 2007 the Spartans will play three straight home games.
“What a great opportunity San José State has to play on national television in 11 regular season games for the first time which is one of the best in the Mountain West,” said Director of Athletics Jeff Konya. “It will give everyone across the country to watch our beloved Spartans and first-year head coach Ken Niumatalolo in a very competitive schedule. The Mountain West continues to be a national brand and we are excited about showcasing SJSU on TruTV/Max.”
The Spartans broadcast information and time for the Oct. 19th homecoming against Wyoming will be announced in the following weeks.
