NEW ORLEANS—San José State student-athletes Emilia Sjostrand, Eve Divinity, Alyssa Bean, Cameron Tarver, and the women’s team as a group earned 2024 All-Academic status in track and field, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
In order to receive individual all-academic status, student-athletes need to have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, including the Preliminary Championship Competition and/or the Final Championship Competition or must have finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or top 48 in the West for the most recent outdoor season.

- Finished eighth in the Women’s Long Jump at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a mark of 5.97m (+0.0) 19' 7”
- Took third in the Long Jump at the Tom Jones Invitational with a mark of 6.20m (1.7) 20' 4.25"
