NORMAN, Okla. – Caleb Shetler and Xuan Luo were named 2023-24 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars as announced by Cobalt Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and in good standing at their college or university.

- Academic All-Mountain West
- Played 33 rounds in 11 tournaments
- Best finish was a tie for fourth at the Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational with a 12-under par 201 (66-67-68)
- Tied for 13th at the Mountain West Championship with a 216 (E)
- Recorded 12 rounds at par or better for the season
- Second on the team in stroke average with a 71.70
Xuan Luo, Sophomore, Jieyang, Guangdong, China, Nanching No. 19
- Mountain West Scholar Athlete
- Academic All-Mountain West
- Played 27 rounds in 9 tournaments
- Best finish was 33rd at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational with a three-under-par 210 (68-69-73)
- Tied for 13th at the Mountain West Championship with a 216
- Had a 71.22 stroke average for nine rounds
