SAN JOSE, Calif. - Bente Pernot made two saves in a shutout effort and Tatiana Cunningham fired off three shots to lead the San José State women's soccer team (0-1-1, 0-0 MW) as they battled to a 0-0 draw for their first points of the season against Saint Mary’s (0-1-1, 0-0 WCC) on Sunday afternoon at Spartan Soccer Complex.
- With this performance recording her 11th career clean sheet, Pernot has now moved into a tie for third place on the SJSU All-Time career shutout list with Amee Brown (1996-99).
- Pernot, with her two saves in this match, also passed current Spartans assistant coach Paige Simoneau for seventh place on the SJSU All-time career saves list with 170.
- Cunningham led the team and ripped off three shots in this game, with one shot on goal.
