SAN JOSE, Calif. - Daniel Fregoso Bautista scored his first career goal to lead the San José State (0-1-1, 0-0-0 WAC) men's soccer team in a 1-1 draw against CSU Bakersfield (1-0-1, 0-0-0 BIG WEST) on Sunday afternoon at Spartan Soccer Complex.
- Fregoso Bautista scored off a shot on the right end of the penalty box that found its way in the back of the net in just the second minute of play.
 - The goal marks Fregoso Bautista's first career goal in just his second career game.
 - Fregoso Bautista's goal was assisted by Ruben Flores-Thomas. For Flores-Thomas, the assist was also the first of his career.
 - The Spartans recorded 12 shots in the game, three of which were on goal.
 - Edgar Guerra tallied one save in the match.
 - Kaylob Walker and Fregoso Bautista each made their first starts of the season.
 - Jesper Bakli made his collegiate debut off the bench.
 - Walker, Niklas Dossmann, Cameron Cook and Angel Iniguez all recorded 90 minutes in the game.
