SAN JOSE, Calif. - Kennedy Mayo scored her first goal of the season to lead the San José State women's soccer team in a 1-1 draw against Northeastern on Sunday afternoon at Spartan Soccer Complex.
- Mayo scored her first goal of the young season from the spot on a penalty that Tatiana Cunningham earned in the 16th minute.
- This was the first penalty attempt and penalty conversion of Mayo's SJSU career.
- Taylor Phillips, Tatiana Cunningham, Isabella Shallou-Enes and Mayo each had three shots in the match with six on goal in total.
- Tiana Cello, Tasia Kravitz, Karissa Ruble, and Iliana Jasso each had one shot in this game.
- Bente Pernot had three saves on the day.
- Shallou-Enes made her first start of the season.
- Cynthia Flores, Keely Brown and Ava Bynes made their season debuts.
- Jordan Rowell, Tiana Cello and Cunningham played the full 90 minutes in this match.
