SAN DIEGO – Cheuk Ying Shek and her doubles partner Carla Urchoeguia won both their doubles and singles consolation matches as the Spartans swept singles to wrap up the final day of the USTA SoCal Intercollegiate Championships from the University of San Diego.
- Ying Shek and Urcheoeguia secured their doubles match 6-2
- Duru Durgun and Olaya Bances Iglesias came up short 6-2
- Ying Shek triumphed in her singles match against Vesa Gjinaj 7-6, 6-4, 11-9, from San Diego State University
- Durgun followed with a singles match and won 6-3, 6-1, against Emma Valletta from the University of Utah
- Urchoeguia recorded a 6-1, 7-6, 11-9, victory against Zoe Olmos from San Diego State University
- Bances Iglesias defeated her singles opponent Dylan Lolofie from the University of Utah 6-4, 6-4
