GRAND HAVEN, Mich.—Moa Andersson shot a 2-over 74 and is tied for 17th as the San José State women’s golf team opened the 2024-25 season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate first round at the American Dunes Golf Course in Grand Haven, Mich.
- Andersson made two birdies and 12 pars over her round. She finished the day making six consecutive pars.
- Lucia Lopez Ortega and Rebecca Gyllner are tied for 29th at 4-over 76. Lopez Ortega made 12 pars on the day, while Gyllner started the day with a birdie and made 12 pars during the round.
- Tessa Kremser is tied for 41st at 6-over 76, making four birdies during the round.
- Nicola Kaminski is tied for 55th at 8-over in her first tournament as a Spartan. She made two birdies during her round.
- The Spartans are tied for seventh at 16-over 304, with Kansas and North Carolina.
- SJSU is 15 shots behind leader Arizona and just three shots behind sixth-place Colorado State.
