SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Mateja Bosić recorded five points to lead the No. 12 San José State men’s water polo team (10-4, 1-1 WCC) past Fresno Pacific (2-12, 0-0 WWPA) 16-7 at Santa Clara University for the first day of the Julian Fraser Memorial.
- Bosić’s five points were the most on the team, consisting of two goals and three assists.
- Zac Newman recorded a career high three assists in the match and also scored a goal.
- Maro Tiozzo recorded three goals in the match on six shots.
- Mitchell Keightly tallied three points in the game with a goal and two assists.
- Connor MacMillan, Giancarlo Marquez, Mattin Sarhaddi, Bence Szabo, Ryder Adams and Terence O’Donnell all recorded two points.
- Maro Tiozzo, Louis Fehrensen, Austin Hexter and Samu Biros each notched a point in the game.
- In goal, Alexey Poletaev recorded six saves and two steals while only allowing seven goals.
