SAN JOSE, Calif. - Amiah Simmons scored 22 points to lead the San José State women’s basketball team in their 81-37 victory over Lincoln on Wednesday night in an exhibition game inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
- Simmons went 7-for-12 from the field and 6-for-9 from the line. In addition to her 22 points, Simmons nabbed 10 boards, one block, and a steal.
- Amira Brown scored 14 points, shooting 4-for-9 from the field with nine rebounds, three assists, and recorded one block.
- Djessira Diawara tallied 13 points, six rebounds, and one assist in the game. She was 6-for-12 shooting from the field.
- Rylei Waugh scored six points, going 2-for-3 from behind the three-point line, and had two assists in 20 minutes of play.
- The Spartans had 22 offensive rebounds, leading to 24 second-chance points.
