LARAMIE, Wyo. - Shayla Sugai notched her first shutout of the season to lead San José State women's soccer (0-8-4, 0-2-2 MW) in a tough 0-0 draw at elevation against Wyoming (3-4-5, 1-1-2 MW) on Sunday afternoon from Madrid Sports Complex in Laramie, Wyo.
- Sugai’s shutout is her first of the season and second of her career.
- Sugai had six saves on the day in goal.
- Sugai now has 41 saves on the season.
- The Spartans now have two shutouts so far this season.
- Taylor Phillips took one shot in this game and was also on target.
- Phillips currently leads the team in shots and shots on goal with 24 and 12.
- Kennedy Mayo had one shot in this game, her 13th of the season so far.
- Kyah Coady, Tasia Kravitz, Isabella Shallou-Enes, Phillips, and Sugai played the full 90 minutes in this match.
- The Spartans were the only Mountain West California program to earn at least a point from matches that were played at higher elevations this past week.
