NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Olaya Bances Iglesias won both her doubles and singles matches for the second day in a row to lead San José State women’s tennis on the second day of the CSUN Invitational on Saturday.
- The Spartans would play their doubles matchups against CSUN, and the Spartans won one out of the three matches.
- Bances Iglesias and Carla Urchoeguia won their match 6-4.
- Bances Iglesias would also win her singles match against Minnesota 6-3, 6-2
- The Spartans also played one doubles match against UTEP in which Duru Durgun and Cristina Mateos Losada won 7-5.
- SJSU again played singles matches today against Minnesota, winning five out of eight.
- Cheuk Ying Shek won her singles match 6-5 and 7-5 in a tiebreak.
- Nahjime Dho won her match 6-0, 4-6, 6-2
- Soledad Fayos Capilla won her match 6-1, 6-3
- Emma Fantousis won 6-2, 4-6, 6-2
