NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Duru Durgun won both her Singles and Doubles matches to lead San José State women’s tennis on Sunday's third and final day of the CSUN Invitational.
- The Spartans played three doubles matches against Minnesota, winning two out of the three matches.
- Durgun and Soledad Fayos Capilla won their doubles match 6-2.
- Cheuk Ying Shek and Carla Urchoeguia won 6-3.
- Durgun won her singles match against Idaho in a tiebreak 6-1, 7-6 (6).
- SJSU also played six singles matches today against Idaho, and the Spartans won 5 out of 6.
- Nahjime Dho came from behind to win her match 3-6, 6-3, 6-2
- Fayos Capilla won her match 6-2, 6-4
- Emma Fantousis won 6-1, 6-3
- Olaya Bances Iglesias won her match in a tiebreak 6-1, 7-6 (3).
UP NEXT: The Spartans have concluded their fall season and will rest for the winter before returning to action in the spring on January 21 against UC Riverside.
