COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San José State's DJ Harvey was named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday.
Harvey returned his first-ever pick-six for 16 yards in the fourth quarter to help lead the Spartans with a 24-13 win at Oregon State on Saturday. Harvey also added a sack, a career-high two tackles for loss, a pass breakup, and seven tackles.

- First career pick-six, career-high 2.0 tackles for loss, a sack and a pass breakup at Oregon State (11/10/24)
- Six tackles with 0.5 tackles for loss vs. Wyoming (10/19/24)
- First fumble recovery and a touchdown with an 85-yard return, had interception, sack, plus seven tackles at Colorado St. (10/12/24)
- Career-high 10 tackles and career-high 1.5 tackles for loss plus two pass breakups vs. Nevada (10/5/24)
- Had two tackles with first career interception at Wash. State (9/20/24)
- One pass breakup, 1.0 tackles for loss, and four tackles vs. Sac State (8/29/24)
- Finished 2023 with 28 tackles, five pass breakups, and 1.5 tackles for loss
